On Tuesday, May 19, AGMPM participated in an online training seminar, organized by the European Organization NATUREEF, in collaboration with the European partners Cyclos HTP (Germany) and Pack4Food (Belgium), within the framework of the BeFORE project.

Experts from four countries, including the chairman of our Association Dimitris Mantis, shared best practices, documentation guidelines and examples of completing the declaration of conformity, which is required for all packaging that will be traded in the Single European Market. The online event was organized under the auspices of the European partners Pack4Food, Sirris | Innovation forward, IVLV, Materials and Packaging Research & Services (voorheen VerpakkingsCentrum), Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging IVV.

On August 12, 2026, the new PPWR Regulation on Packaging and Packaging Waste enters into force, bringing a harmonized and much more detailed approach to compliance documentation across the EU

AGMPM, having now acquired the critical infrastructure, the necessary know-how and through synergies with European Organizations and partners, supports its Members in completing the required DOC and provides in-depth answers to specific Articles concerning the PPWR.
